The final Grand Tour of the season begins on Saturday 26th August, marking the 78th edition of La Vuelta a España, which will deliver an intense three weeks, with 21 back-to-back stages of gripping road racing. Covering over 3,000km and featuring 13 first-category climbs, five at hors categorie, it’s topped to be the ‘hardest Vuelta in history’, and a very traditional mountain-fest for the INEOS Grenadiers. This year’s Spanish Tour will be led by 37-year-old Geraint Thomas, who will look to claim overall victory.
