An everyday light and refreshing recovery drink 

The REGO Clear Recovery supplement combines 20g of clear whey protein and 21g of carbohydrate and is designed to help you to refuel and repair your body after exercise. With a low sugar formula, just 1.5g per serving, and the natural inclusion of Leucine, it makes this the ideal everyday recovery product so you can go again, day after day.  

Simply, mix with water and you’re good to go.

THE SCIENCE

Athletes that regularly train or perform at a high intensity, require an everyday solution to replenish carbohydrate stores and repair muscles after exercise. 

Science in Sport utilise the latest technology in clear proteins to create REGO Clear Recovery, a refreshing product that’s perfect for daily use.  

The formula contains a 1:1 ratio of protein and carbohydrates to support recovery from exercise. With 21g of carbohydrate & 20g of clear whey protein isolate, it’s the perfect mix to start the refuelling of muscle glycogen stores, repair and recondition muscle2. It also naturally includes Leucine, an essential amino acid used in the biosynthesis of protein, which supports muscle protein synthesis.

1Carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function after highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle. Beneficial effect from consuming a total of 4g/kg body weight of carbohydrates from all sources, in doses, within the first 4 hours and no later than 6 hours post intense and/or long-lasting physical activity.

Suggested Use

Add 46g of powder (one full scoop) to 500ml cold water and shake. Frothing is normal. Leave to stand for at least 1 minute. Best when consumed up to 30 minutes post-exercise.

I'm a long term user of the rego recovery shakes. I thought I'd try this as an alternative. It has great texture mixes well and appears to have quite good content. The only issue for me is the flavour which is quite intolerable. I'm looking forward to finishing the bag so I can get my strawberry Rego back.

As a long time user of the previous version of Rego Rapid Recovery (Vanilla), I was very disappointed with the taste of the new version. It may be technically better but it now has an artificial sweet flavour that is difficult to recognise as Vanilla and has a much more watery texture ...to be honest it tastes awful. I have now gone to one of SIS competitors for a Recovery Product and I am very happy.
