Landmark partnership renewal takes pioneering relationship to over 10 years<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Science in Sport (SiS)\u00a0<\/span>are pleased to announce a ground-breaking partnership renewal extension with leading <\/span>World Tour professional cycling team, <\/span>INEOS Grenadiers<\/span><\/a>. The new agreement takes the longstanding partnership through to 2026. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SiS\u2019s team of embedded practitioners and world-class scientists first began working with the INEOS Grenadiers in 2015, when they were formerly known as Team Sky \u2013 a partnership which to date has achieved eight Grand Tour victories, including four Tour de France titles.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Since its inception, the partnership has been underpinned by a shared commitment and drive to deliver the best endurance nutrition products and service that provides an edge on rival teams. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For a number of years, SiS has embedded two nutritionists within the team year-round, as well as providing a backdrop of expertise from the World-Class in-house Science team led by Professor James Morton. This infrastructure allows SiS to respond to and meet the performance challenges of some of the world’s best athletes and delivers turnkey solutions for INEOS Grenadiers Cycling Team. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of the new agreement, SiS has committed to a three-year PhD study at Liverpool John Moores University. The project will be dedicated to research into the specific performance challenges of INEOS Grenadiers, including a variety of focuses distinct to the needs of endurance cyclists. In addition, SiS will continue to provide bespoke products, designed to meet the complex and varying needs of individual riders; already demonstrated via the development of products within the SiS LAB Range. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For the INEOS Grenadiers team, <\/span>SiS Beta Fuel<\/span><\/a> has remained a game changer in performance. Originally launched in 2018, the product famously powered Chris Froome\u2019s sensational 80km solo ride in the Giro d\u2019Italia. In 2021\u00a0Beta Fuel was re-launched as a complete fuelling solution containing an optimal 1:0.8 carbohydrate ratio and became an instant world leader. INEOS Grenadiers team will continue to work on a variety of new products, with the first of these due to launch later this year.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
