Lynn is a M.Sc. Sport nutrition student at Liverpool John Moores University and involved in current research projects conducted at LJMU. She received her Bachelor of Sport and Performance from the German Sport University Cologne where she focussed on the effects of food ingredients and nutritional supplements on physiological regeneration after high-intensity exercise. Parallel to her university and research activities, Lynn actively performs Olympic Weightlifting and CrossFit and has extensive experience as personal and group fitness coach.

A Sport Nutrition Masters Student at Liverpool John Moores University, Calum is currently on a placement with Science in Sport. His aim is to develop technology in sport by implementing applications to further enhance athletes’ performance, training and nutrition, as well as aid recovery from injury.

Dana is the US Performance Nutrition Lead for Science in Sport. From research to practise to industry Dana’s wealth of experience has provided her the honour of supporting some of the World’s top athletes. As a registered dietitian and graduate of the renowned IOC diploma in Sport Nutrition Dana has become one of the few to earn the trifecta of performance nutrition by also earning her Registered Dietitian designation at University of Birth Columbia, doctorate from the University of Tasmania and Post-doctoral research at UC Davis in California. From World Tour cycling to the NBA, Dana continues to strive towards pushing the envelope of evidence-influenced performance nutrition as well as mentorship in the field.

In a previous life Nick played American football professionally before becoming a secondary school teacher. Nowadays he works as a freelance copywriter where amongst other things he gets to write about his first love – sports. In his spare time, he lifts weights, plays and coaches baseball (which he calls his retirement sport), and travels with his wife to as many countries as he can.
