Job Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for selling Science in Sport nutrition to College Sport Teams

Science in Sport have identified an opportunity to drive sales into collegiate sport and need a self-starter to join the team. Backed by the world’s most advanced banned substance testing programme & testimonials from Manchester United Football Club and 34 Olympic Medalists the candidate will build long term relationships and business with decision makers across US college sport.

They will have an existing network of contacts across US sport and firm understanding of how to create this new business channel for Science in Sport. The expectation will be for the individual to gain traction at pace so experience completing a similar role is highly desirable.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • •Build and deliver a plan to cover distribution, awareness, contact and revenue targets.
  • •Develop a netwoek and contact matrix of influential coaches, athletic directors, nutritionist and purchasing managers that will ultimately generate awareness across target teams & athletes.
  • •Identify the optimum route to market
  • •Feedback insight to fuel innovation pripeline foe the USA market
  • •Extensive travel throughout the USA

Person Specification (Qualification, Skills, Competencies & Experience)

  • •Commercially savvy Entrepeneur
  • •Experienced sales professional within USA sports
  • •Demonstrate genuine contacts within US college sport
  • •Hands on experience of selling 'challenger brands' into Sports Colleges across all levels
  • •Confident and proactive mind-set
  • •Passion for sports is essential
  • •Understanding of sports nutrition principles is desirable
