About Science in Sport BCAA Shot
Branched Chain Amino Acid (BCAA) Shot with additional Arginine and B-Vitamins:
This product contains 4g of BCAA’s in a 2:1:1 ratio, with an additional 500mg of Arginine, Vitamins B6 and B12 and Folic Acid.
The BCAAs, Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine, are the key ingredients found within BCAA Shot, all of which cannot be synthesised within the body. B-vitamins may help to support the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, making this product the ideal drink to consume before, during or after exercise.
Empfohlene NutzungConsume 1 BCAA Shot either before fasted training or early into long-endurace sessions. Do not exceed more than 2 shots per day.
The Science in Sport BCAA shot has been formulated to support endurance athletes. It has been well documented that exercise increase the process of protein breakdown and replacing protein guards against this catabolic effect. Protein contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass and BCAAs are the building blocks of protein. BCAAs consumed in “free form” require minimal digestion and are rapidly absorbed into the blood stream;
BCAA Perform is tested under the Informed Sport Certification program. This approach involves testing every single batch of SIS finished product, which leaves the Company’s factory, screened against the 2018 World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) list. Banned substances including steroids are tested to the level of 10 Nanograms per gram, and stimulants to 100 Nanograms per gram. Batches (sampled at the beginning, during and end of each product batch) receive the recognised and respected Informed Sport* certificate and SIS provides the documentation to athletes on request.

What is in BCAA Shot?
BCAA Shot contains 4g of branched chain amino acids known as BCAA’s (2g leucine, 1g isoleucine and 1g valine) in a 2:1:1 ratio. The product also includes 500mg of arginine, vitamins B6 and B12 and folic acid.
What are BCAAs?
BCAA’s are three essential amino acids (leucine, isoleucine and valine) meaning that they must be obtained through the diet. BCAAs are also used as energy source during endurance exercise, especially during high-intensity and carbohydrate restricted exercise (i.e. low carb training).
What is Arginine?
Arginine is a non-essential amino acid that works in synergy with BCAAs.
Does it have any side effects?
There are no reported side effects of amino acid supplementation, but do not exceed the recommended dose.
Does it contain any stimulants?
Typically, pre-workout supplements or shots include a stimulant (caffeine/taurine). BCAA Shot does not contain any stimulates, offer an on-the-go solution for athletes who don’t want these stimulants.
I’m an Endurance Athlete, will BCAA Shot help me?
The BCAAs are used as an energy source during endurance exercise and low carbohydrate availability sessions (i.e. fasted training). BCAAs are the building blocks of protein and consuming protein contributes to the maintenance of muscle mass and reduces the detrimental effects of muscle protein breakdown.
When should I take the BCAA Shot?
Take one BCAA shot before fasted training sessions or early into long endurance sessions. Do not exceed two BCAA Shots per day.
