SUGGESTED USE

Each chew bar contains 45 grams of carbohydrate. Depending on your sport or event, you should aim to consume 1-3 chew bars every hour during exertion to reach an 80g-120g target intake. In some circumstances, such as cold weather, it may be necessary to consume more. Simply tear open and remove the chew bars from the packet. They can be consumed as a bar or broken into individual chew blocks, each block containing 7.5 grams of carbohydrate.

Use alone or combine with other energy supplements from the Beta Fuel range to achieve hourly 80-120g carbohydrate intake.

ADVANCED BY SCIENCE

The BETA range uses maltodextrin and fructose in an optimal 1:0.8 dual source formulation to enhance the amount of carbohydrate that can used during exercise.

THE FUEL YOU NEED

Research shows endurance sport lasting 2 hours or more requires 80-120g carbohydrate intake per hour

THE FUEL YOU NEED

For endurance events lasting over 2 hours, consuming 80–120g of carbs per hour is key for peak performance. BETA Fuel Energy Chews offer an optimised 45g of carbohydrate in an alternaitive, block format. Maltodextrin is a form of glucose and is taken up directly by absorbed working muscles, delivering fast-release energy essential for endurance. Fructose is processed by the liver, providing a slower, sustained release of energy that supports prolonged performance and increases total carbohydrate availability.

AN OPTIMISED DUAL-SOURCE FORMULA

An optimal 1:0.8 ratio of maltodextrin supports greater carbohydrate intake per hour

AN OPTIMISED DUAL-SOURCE FORMULA

As an endurance athlete (events typically lasting > 2 hours) taking on 80 – 120g of carbohydrate per hour is crucial for maintaining maximal performance.

BETA FUEL Chews deliver dual source carbohydrate in the form of both maltodextrin and fructose allowing you to achieve peak rates of exogenous carbohydrate oxidation of over 1.5 g per minute. The result, is maximal rates of carbohydrate delivery, absorption and utilisation, with minimal gastrointestinal discomfort

First time using this product and was impressed. Taste is nice, not to sweet and made a difference on my run, alternating these with the beta gels every 3 miles kept me going on the 20 mile run i tried them on. As in the past I've only used gels, they do get a bit of getting use to to eat on run but do feel that using these alongside the gels is a better fuelling strategy for my long runs than gels alone

Highly recommend for longer exercise. Easy to chew and swallow when on the bike, as an aside, was easy to swallow when I didn't chew it properly, wouldn't recommend doing it, but it's good to know it won't stop the ride! Tastes nice too, not a fan of orange, so went with the lemon,
