Using the right sports nutrition is important - find out why!

At Science in Sport, we understand that sports nutrition can be a confusing world, full of claims suggesting that you can ‘run faster’ or ‘go harder’. We don’t believe in gimmicks, only that your body is the most sophisticated piece of sports equipment that you will ever own. If you put high quality nutrition in, you will perform at your best. We have 4 brand pillars which we stand by when you ask “why Science in Sport?”

  1. World Class Knowledge: We work with leading academics and scientists to develop new, innovative products. We were the first to manufacture Isotonic Energy Gels and the full recovery product – REGO Rapid Recovery and now REGO Rapid Recovery Plus.
  2. Intelligent Product Design: Our products are developed and tested with elite athletes, designed at our own innovation centre. All products are designed to be easy on the stomach, so you can concentrate on your performance.
  3. Trustworthy: The Science in Sport brand is trusted by professional and Olympic athletes in a range of sports, across the world. A key component of this trust is the Company’s approach to preventing banned substances entering its supply chain and finished products.
  4. Passionate: Our products fuelled 24 Olympic medal winners in 2012 & a further 34 in 2016 and we employ elite athletes who understand your needs at all levels.

    Good evening,

I’m looking for your expert advice regarding the best supplements for my son. He’s 17yrs old and is a full time footballer. He trains 5 days per week (Mon-Fri) and plays on a Saturday.

Training generally consists of 4 gym sessions a week (2 morning, 2 afternoon) around 60/70 minutes per session (upper and lower body twice a week). Cardio/ball work 4 tunes per week 80/90minute sessions.

He’s currently 6” tall, 72kg with 11% body fat. He’s looking to gain lean muscle mass of approx 10kg of the next 6/9minths.

Can you please advise the best products, times to take them etc...
