Making a purchase.
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit or debit card payment. If you are shopping from overseas, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.
We accept most major credit and debit cards but do not accept American Express or Visa Electron. You may send your credit card information via telephone, fax, post or over the internet.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Please make sure that your confirmation e-mail address is correct and that it does not wind up in your junk e-mail folders. Make a note of your order number as it is required if you wish to contact us in anyway about it.
Shipping and handling.
For UK mainland orders under £100.00 a shipping and handling charge of £4.00 applies. Orders over £100.00 receive free shipping and handling.
International orders are charged at cost and depend on the weight of the order, which is calculated on our webshop before the order is confirmed and payment taken.
Delivery schedule.
We download orders first thing in the morning and try to pack them in the morning for despatch that day. Mainland UK shipping is with UPS Standard (a next-working-day service) and requires asignature upon delivery. However, there is no guarantee of next day delivery, and for parts of the country it may take a few days. UPS will attempt delivery three times - if they are unsuccessful, the parcel will return to the depot and ultimately to us. There may be delays in despatching your order when we are very busy - please bear with us, as we are only a small workforce and can only work as fast as we can!
Shipping to Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands is with Royal Mail. No tracking is available for these parcels.
International orders are shipped with UPS, and obviously take longer. Further delays can occur at the customs and import offices of the destination country - we can do nothing about this. Import duty may also need to be paid, but we deduct tax at this end so you do not end up paying this twice.
BFPO addresses - we do ship to BFPO addresses (with Royal Mail) but for active combat zones there is a strict 2kg weight limit, so please take this into account when ordering. With careful packaging, we can just get away with a 1.6kg tub.
Please ensure to enter your address correctly! We ship to the delivery address provided by you, and if this is wrong we cannot be held responsible if the parcel goes missing.
All orders are subject to satisfactory credit approval.
Back orders.
If an item is not in stock, your order will be held back until we have stock. If an item is going to take a long time, we will send out the rest of your order and can either refund or send the out of stock item as and when it is in stock.
If an item is marked as out of stock on our website, then it is out of stock and we cannot send it. The website is updated as soon as items are back in stock, so please be patient! Ordering an item which is out of stock will delay your order.
Tax.
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free, but import duties may apply for your country (we cannot pay these import duties).
Credit card security.
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach the credit card processing company. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Reaching us.

We are open 9am - 5pm every weekday. We are closed at weekends, Bank Holidays and over Christmas (Christmas Eve until the first business day of the New Year).
Privacy policy.
SiS (Science in Sport) Limited do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfillment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options |Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies. Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfill customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes
Returns.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2000/2334/contents/made
In the event that you are not satisfied with your order you have the right to cancel within seven days of the contract, or seven days of receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer). If you do cancel your order, you will have your payment refunded, although if the goods have been delivered these will need to be returned first. Unfortunately we cannot cover the cost of return postage. Please call head office to arrange cancellation (contact details on our contacts page).
